Description

For travelers looking to get away from it all, the Kapawi Eco-lodge takes “remote” to a new level. This Eco-lodge, 100% owned and operated by the Achuar tribe, is located in the southeast Ecuadorian Amazon and surrounded on all sides by dense rainforest – it is accessible only via small aircraft. As a community tourism enterprise, Kapawi offers inclusive stays to travelers that include cultural immersion into the lives and customs of the Achuar people, specifically the Kapawi, Kusutkau, & Suwa communities who own and operate the lodge.
