Description

Seminary Hill is rooted in the owner’s five generations of connection to the land in the New York hamlet of Callicoon in the western Catskills. Inspired by the “Catskills of old,” founders Susan Manning and Doug Doetsch established Seminary Hill as a cidery, accommodation, and eatery to bring sustainable agriculture, heritage, and hospitality to its visitors. Engagingly historic and beautifully pastoral, Seminary Hill is certain to raise the spirits of visitors looking to warm their souls with an authentic connection to the land and a restful night’s sleep in cozy lodgings amid stunning mountain greenery.

The Boarding House showcases sustainable, Shaker-inspired designs of the local studio Homestedt. This cozy accommodation offers 17 rooms across 8 apartments, that each include a living room and kitchenette. The Boarding House offers easy access to trails for hiking & cross country skiing, as well as the charming downtown of historic Callicoon.
